Without the famous bass guitar riff this song wouldn't be as well-known and catchy. But it really couldn't have been any other way - this song was written by the band's bass guitarist John Deacon. This song is also known as “the longest running top ten song of 1980,” spending 15 whole weeks on the Billboard Top 10, 13 of which were spent in Top 5.
